Corvette Red Lines on Black Wheels
This project started when I noticed these wheels in the parking lot of a Chevy Dealership. The customer thought I was admiring his wheels and asked if I liked them. I said, “Yeah, they are cool. Too bad the red parts are only stickers. Did you apply the vinyl yourself?”.
With a disappointed face he said, “You are the third person to point that out to me. I paid about $300 extra for the red and it’s only vinyl. I need someone who can paint it permanently”.
With a smile I said, “I’m your guy.”
I showed him projects I had done in the past with an example of almost the exact same job for another customer in Utah. I gave him a quote and we set up an appointment right there in the parking lot.
He got the wheels he wanted, the way he wanted them.
